British footballer Nile Ranger has reportedly been caught on CCTV while punching a defenceless woman in the face before smashing down a door outside his penthouse flat.
The CCTV footage reportedly displayed the football bad boy attacking an unknown brunette as he returned home with her after a night out.
The former Newcastle United ace got angry when he apparently lost his electronic key fob and could not get in to his luxury home while the girl tried to calm Ranger down, but he reacted by slapping her twice with his right hand as she tried to defend herself, the Mirror reported.
The CCTV footage showed Swindon Town forward Ranger punching the girl with his left hand, causing her to fall against the wall, the report added.
Ranger then reportedly broke into the apartment block by taking a run up and kicking the door in.
The footage has been handed to the Wiltshire Police following which three panda cars arrived at Ranger's Swindon flat to find the footballer missing from his home.

The film had reportedly been handed over by a person who saw the footage when workers arrived to fix the door, which has been damaged to the tune of 2,000 pounds.
A Wiltshire Police spokesman said that police has been trying to make inquiries to locate the suspect and as a result the police would contact the man through his solicitor for interview by appointment in connection with the criminal damage and assault.
Speculations are that Ranger might have been out celebrating after his side beat Brentford 1-0 at home a day before the incident took place, the report added.
