India will aim to open their campaign at the Badminton Asia Junior Championships 2017 on a promising note when they take on China in a team match in Jakarta, Indonesia, today.
India and China have been clubbed together in Group 'A' along with Korea and Uzbekistan.
In all, 18 countries, including Indonesia, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, Hong Kong , China and Chinese Taipei are taking part in the championship.
India has the highest number of 22 participants.
The participating countries have been divided into four groups based on overall team strength and as per BWF ranking.
Group-B comprises Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Macau China and Myanmar, while Thailand, Japan, Kazakhistan, Mongolia and Philippines are in Group C. Indonesia, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong China and Nepal have been placed in Group D.
