A Delhi Court granted today bail to Chhattisgarh bureaucrat Babu Lal Agrawal and others in connection with alleged bribery case on furnishing of a bail bond of Rs. one lakh each.
The court had earlier extended the remand of the 1988 batch IAS officer and two others by three days.
Agrawal, Bhagwan Singh and Anand Agrawal have already spent five days in Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) custody.
According to the CBI, the fourth accused Syed Burhanuddin, who was caught in Hyderabad is yet to be questioned in the presence of the other accused.
The CBI has alleged that Agrawal was trying to escape investigation with the help of certain mediators and through monetary favours.
The mediators are yet to be identified.

As of now, the CBI is conducting an operation for recovery of several hawala transactions worth lakhs of rupees.
Two cases were previously registered against Agrawal and a chargesheet has been filed against him regarding the same.
