On the last day of U-23 Senior World Wrestling Championship in Poland, Indian wrestlers Bajrang and Vinod reached the final, confirming medals for India.
Bajrang, 65 kg, free style wrestler defeated Azerbaijani wrestler Ilyasli by 5-0 points.
In the quarterfinal round, he defeated Turkish wrestler Yavuz by 7-5 points and in the semifinal bout, he defeated strong opponent Irani wrestler Yones Aliakbar by 9-7 point to reach the final.
The final bout for gold medal will be held with Russian wrestler Kuular.
Another free style wrestler, Vinod Kumar, 70 kg, also performed well and reached the final.
In the qualification round, Vinod defeated Georgian wrestler Mirza by 3-0 points.
And in the quarterfinal, he defeated Ukrainian wrestler Zakariev by 5-2 points.

In the semifinal bout, he defeated Japanese wrestler by 2-1 points and reached the final.
The final bout for gold medal will be held with USA wrestler Lewis.
Both Bajrang and Vinod have a confirmed medal for India.
Brijbhushan Sharan Singh, MP, President, Wrestling Federation of India said that both wrestlers will come back to India with a gold medal.
