Gareth Bale ended his scoring drought as he scored twice to anchor Real Madrid to a comfortable 2-0 win over Levante, leaving Carlo Ancelotti's side one point behind pace-setters Barcelona in La Liga table.
Bale put Real ahead in the 18th minute after Cristiano Ronaldo's acrobatic effort was skillfully saved, the BBC reported.
The Welshman added a second from close range following a pass from Ronaldo before half-time.
Real will next meet arch-rivals Barca on Monday at the Nou Camp.
