Bangladesh President Abdul Hamid, who is on a six-day official visit to India, on Sunday visited the Ajmer Sharif dargah, which is the shrine of sufi saint, Moinuddin Chishti.
He had also visited the Amer fort near Jaipur earlier in the day.
President Hamid, who is in the country at the invitation of President Pranab Mukherjee, had earlier this week met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national capital. The two leaders shook hands and held bilateral discussions pertaining to the mutual interest of both nations.
During his visit, President Hamid also met External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
The Bangladeshi President's visit will contribute to further strengthening and expanding the close bilateral relations between the two countries.
