Bangladeshi fugitive Syed Hasan Ali, Razakar commander in 1971, has been given capital punishment for war crimes committed during the Liberation War.
According to The Daily Star, the court said that the Razakar of Kishoreganj will either be hanged or gunned down.
He has been found guilty in five of the six charges filed against him for genocide and crimes against humanity.
Ali has been given death sentence in two of the charges.
The court gave him death for mass murder in Shemulhati village in Kishoreganj, killing of 11 hindus, and the genocide of Balongka street.
