The International Cricket Council (ICC) has cleared Bangladesh bowlers Taskin Ahmed and Arafat Sunny to resume bowling in international cricket after finding their bowling actions to be legal.

The two were suspended during the World T20 for illegal actions and were not bowling in international cricket since then.

"The bowling actions of Bangladesh's Arafat Sunny and Taskin Ahmed have been found to be legal and both bowlers can now resume bowling in international cricket, effective immediately," the ICC said in a statement on Friday.

"At the re-assessments, which were carried out at the National Cricket Centre in Brisbane on 8 September, it was revealed that the amount of elbow extension in all of Arafat and Taskin's deliveries were now within the 15-degree level of tolerance permitted under the ICC regulations," it added.

Arafat and Taskin were reported after their side's opening match in the ICC World Twenty20 India 2016 against the Netherlands in Dharamsala on March 9.

Taskin is among the 13 players included in the Bangladesh squad for the first two ODIs in a three-match series against Afghanistan which begins in Dhaka on Sunday.
