The Bangladesh Supreme Court on Tuesday warned ruling Awami League lawmaker Abdur Rahman Bodi for issuing a threat against the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
A four-member bench of the Appellate Division of the apex court, which was headed by Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha, said it could revoke Bodi's bail in a graft case if he makes such comments in future, reports the Daily Star.
On September 15, Bodi threatened the ACC saying that he would reveal "all secrets" of the Anti-Corruption Commission and its Chairman Mohammad Badiuzzaman if they tried to prove him corrupt.
The lawmaker from Cox's Bazar-4 constituency was addressing a discussion organised to mark the National Income Tax Day in Chittagong.
