Barbara Bush says she loves Bill Clinton despite no political alignment

Former US first lady Barbara Bush has said that she loves Bill Clinton, though they don't agree politically, but she and her husband are very close with his successor.

In an interview with C-SPAN, Bush said that the friendship between her, Clinton and former President George H.W. Bush developed over time, Politico reports.

She further said that Bill visits them every summer, and they don't talk politics.

Bush also said that she sees a father-son relationship between the two former presidents.
