Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas has said that he still loves Arsenal and described the club as a family, which he hopes will keep its doors open for him to come back in the future.

According to the Mirror, the 26-year-old spoke of his heartache at never winning the title with the Gunners, who he says are the closest team in style to Barca.

He blamed Eduardo's broken leg against Birmingham City in February 2008 and losing to the same club in the Carling Cup final three years later for causing a mental block, which hampered Arsenal's efforts to win silverware, the report said.

Revealingly, the Spaniard told of his love for the Premier League, which he believes is the most entertaining to watch in world football, the report added.

The skillful Spain international believes, however, that the Premier League is easier for Spanish footballers because they have more time and space to pick a pass, the report further said.

Fabregas was strongly linked to a move to Arsenal's rivals Manchester United in the summer, according to the report.
