Barcelona president Josep Bartomeu has reportedly warned that he will continue to "plunder England for their top players" in a bid to become the most popular league in the world in the future.
Bartomeu spelled the ambition of his club by saying that he wants to bring the top players onboard as the club has the resources to do so, reported The Mirror. He declared that Barcelona will only recruit the best players from now on.
He recently acquired Footballer of the Year Luis Suarez from Liverpool for 75 million pounds.
Barcelona's latest financial report broke all club records and their 500 million pound turnover put them behind Manchester United and Real Madrid.
They now sell more shirts around the world than any other club and have 77.3 million followers on Facebook and 13.3 million on Twitter.
