The BBIN nations (Bangladesh, Bhutan, India and Nepal) will sign a Motor Vehicle pact later today, which will facilitate seamless transport between the countries.
The pact, which will be signed by the Transport Ministers of all four countries in Thimpu, will aim to provide safe, economical efficient and environmentally sound road transport in the region, with each country benefitting by the mutual cross-border movement of passenger and goods.
The Union Cabinet had approved the agreement earlier this month.
