Batsman Ian Bell and women team captain Charlotte Edwards have reportedly bagged the England Cricketer of the Year and England Women's Cricketer of the Year award for the 2013-14 season.
Bell, who has played 98 Tests and 146 ODIs and scored three centuries and two fifties in England's 2013 3-0 home Ashes win, said that it is a real honour to get this award, adding that some great players have won it.
Meanwhile, England women's team skipper Edwards, who led her team in back-to-back Ashes series wins against Australia, bagged the England Women's Cricketer award, the BBC reported.
Moreover, Stephen George, who led England Under-19s to third place at the Under-19 World Cup and also made his Yorkshire first-team debut last summer, reportedly bagged the England Development Programme award.
Wicketkeeper-batsman from Paignton in Devon, Will Rhodes, was named the Disability Cricketer of the Year for his part in England Deaf Squad's 6-0 series whitewash of South Africa.
Bell said that it has taken a while for him but since 2009 his cricket has got better and better, adding that he was probably guilty of getting good runs at an easy time, but over the last five years he has started to get runs when it really mattered for the team.
