British girls are reportedly heading off to Syria to wed soldiers fighting against the forces of President Bashar al-Assad.
Members of the rag-tag rebel groups are attracting female followers by posting heroic-sounding messages and photos online, according to experts.
At least four British women, two from Portsmouth, one from London and one from Surrey, are known to have been married in the war zone, but researchers from King's College, London, said that the total figure of such cases could be much higher, the Daily Star reported.
In another Bizarre revelation, some of them are taking to Skype to marry, before travelling to Syria.
