Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that he felt betrayed by his own players and admitted they have lost any remaining chances of securing a top-four finish in the Premier League with yet another defeat.
Chelsea failed to part ways with their miserable season as they crashed to their ninth defeat in 16 league games with a 2-1 loss to leaders Leicester City.
Reflecting on his team's performance, Mourinho said that they conceded two goals that were unacceptable and opined that he felt his work was betrayed, the Mirror reported.
The Portuguese admitted that Chelsea didn't play at their best level, adding that players in crucial positions were not at their normal level.
He added that he was frustrated by the difference of performance shown by his players during training and matches.
