The Naya Shakti Nepal, a political group led by former Maoist leader Baburam Bhattarai, would declare itself as a political party on June 12.

Bhattarai said that he would proclaim a party establishment from June 12 to 14 at a press meet at its central office in Babarmahal of Kathmandu.

Former prime minister Bhattarai was replaced by then Chief Justice Khil Raj Regmi due to the political deadlock since the dissolution of the first Nepalese Constituent Assembly in May 2012.
