Expressing delight over his party's splendid performance in the Bihar by-polls, former chief minister and Janata Dal (United) leader Nitish Kumar on Monday said the verdict is a clear indication of the fact that the people would not accept the divisive politics as propagated by the BJP.

"I would like to express my satisfaction at the by-poll results and thank all the voters. The result of these by-polls is a clear indication that people of Bihar won't accept divisive politics as propagated by BJP," Kumar told mediapersons here.

"Winning so close after the Lok Sabha elections proves that the people of Bihar believe in goodwill," he added while congratulating all the winners.

The JD (U) - RJD - Congress alliance in Bihar won six of the ten seats, while BJP won only four.
