Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday expressed his satisfaction over the immediate relief and compensation provided by the Bihar Government to those affected by the deadly storm in the state.
"Satisfied to see that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has provided immediate relief and announced compensation of Rs 4 lakh to families of the deceased," said Rajnath.
"I and Nitish ji have decided, after assessing the damage in all affected areas, that Bihar government will give a Memorandum to the Government of India," he added.

The Home Minister further assured all possible assistance by the Centre to the Bihar government.

"We conducted an aerial survey of areas affected by storm today, there has been a lot of damage to crops and houses. I assure, all possible assistance will be provided by the Centre to Bihar government," he said.
