A group of 50 women motorbike riders from Gujarat, the Biking Queens, on Monday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi here in the national capital.

The group says they have driven over 10,000 km, covering 13 states/union territories, and interacted with people on social themes, such as 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' and 'Swachh Bharat'.

On August 15 this year, they unfurled the tri-colour at Khardungla, in Ladakh.

The Prime Minister appreciated their efforts and wished them the best for their future endeavours.

As a part of their 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' awareness campaign, 'Biking Queens' have already visited various states, including Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh, to name a few places.
