Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amrinder Singh on Friday assured that the government will assist in the ongoing probe into the Rs 6,000 crore drug case involving former Akali minister Bikram Singh Majithia.
The Enforcement Directorate had earlier summoned Majithia in the international synthetic drug case.
"I also think he is guilty but we cannot catch him. Many Akalis are involved in this. The government will assist in the ongoing probe," Punjab Chief Minister said at press conference here.
Majithia was a former Cabinet Minister in the Punjab Government.
His name surfaced in the international synthetic drug case after the Punjab police arrested a Canadian national of Indian origin.
