Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was forced to leave the stage at the "Million March" in London when protesters reportedly started throwing water bottles, tomatoes and eggs at the leader.

The Million March was organized on Sunday to demand a just and peaceful solution to the Kashmir issue and witnessed thousands of protesters rallying across central London in protest against India's human rights violations in Kashmir, reported The Express Tribune.

However, protesters objected to Bhutto's presence and also chanted 'Go Bilawal Go' and 'Go Nawaz Go' as he attempted to take the stage.

The report said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan's nephew, Hassan Niazi, was also involved in the controversy and was detained by the UK police after the incident, according to a tweet posted from his official account.

Following the incident, the PPP Chairman's sister, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, tweeted that her brother is safe and alleged that Indian agents tried to stop him from speaking but they did not succeed.
