Information and Broadcasting Secretary Bimal Julka is leading an Indian delegation to Toronto International Film Festival to showcase India's strengths as a film shooting destination for foreign producers in India and to promote joint collaborations amongst stakeholders within the policy framework.

The visit of the delegation assumes importance in the light of India and Canada having signed an Audio-Visual Co-Production Agreement recently. Julka is leading the delegation at the festival from 6-9 September, 2014.

During the visit, the delegation will be discussing policy and institutional collaboration issues with a variety of critical stakeholders from both the Global and Canadian film industry.
