Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Deepak Vijayvargiya on Friday accused the Congress of fabricating stories to tarnish the party's image over the recent controversy surrounding Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan.
"Congress is propagating fabricated things which have no basis. They are trying to tarnish BJP's image," said Vijayvargiya.
According to reports, Chouhan was heard asking BJP leader Rajendra Choudhary to support the party's candidate for Garoth Assembly by-poll in Mandsaur district, in the audio conversation in exchange for a respectable position in the government.
