The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday lashed out at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav by accusing them of sheltering the terrorists in Bihar for the sake of 'vote banks'.
"Both Lalu Yadav and Nitish Kumar are giving shelter to the terrorists. This is an inefficient government, who has been sheltering them for the sake of vote banks," Bihar BJP leader Sushil Modi told ANI.
"The militants of different terror outfits lioke Laskhare-e-Toiba (LeT) and Indian Mujahideen (IM) consider Bihar to be a safe heaven," he added.
Modi further attacked the duo over Bihar police's denial to take Yasin Bhatkal in its custody when he was caught in Nepal.
"Why was Yasin Bhatkal not taken in remand even when he was there in Patna? Till the time people like Nitish and Lalu are there in power there won't be any action against the terrorist," he added.
The Bihar BJP leader further slammed the inefficiency of the Nitish Kumar-led Government for the attacks that took place in Bodh Gaya and in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rally in Patna.
