Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah and Congress Party leader Deepender Singh Hooda held rallies in Haryana ahead of the upcoming state assembly elections.
Addressing a gathering in Hisar, Shah said, "Prime Minister Modi became PM with the blessings of the people of Haryana and the people have imposed their faith in the government."
"Hooda and Chautala have ruined Haryana, now Haryana needs a government that can move ahead on the road of development. I urge you to come out of caste and clans politics and vote for development of Haryana," Shah added.
Taking a dig at former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Shah said, "After ten years, the nation has finally got a prime minister who speaks."
Meanwhile, addressing a gathering in Samalkha, Deepender Singh Hooda said, "In the last nine years, Bhupinder Singh Hooda has worked for the betterment of Haryana with utmost sincerity. He has worked for all the sections of the society rich and poor, cities and villages."
"In the entire nation, the electricity charges for farmers is the least in Haryana at 10 paisa per unit whereas in Gujarat, the electricity charges for the farmers is two rupees 70 paisa," Hooda added.
Elections for 90 members Haryana Legislative Assembly is scheduled to be held on October 15, the results will be announced on October 19.
