Holding Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal responsible for creating politicised divisions in Delhi, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday alleged that the former chief minister's comments on tensions in the national capital should not be taken seriously.
BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said that Kejriwal should not be taken very seriously.
"He has lost all his shield... he has divided the Indian politics and particularly the politics of Delhi into two parts, one which loves development which stands for development and the other which loves Arvind Kejriwal and likes drama," Patra told ANI here.
"But the people of Delhi and people of India are intelligent enough to differentiate between development and drama and to choose whether they want to go with development or whether they want to go with drama," he added.
Kejriwal had earlier alleged that the BJP is trying to incite communal tensions in several areas of the national capital.
"The BJP is trying to incite riots across the city. Trilokpuri, Nandnagari, Bawana and now Mundka. Only if the people, the media and the police come together can Delhi be saved," he said on twitter.
