"A change has come in Uttar Pradesh. After seeing the mandate of this state in the general election, I can say that the people of backward and other backward classes supported us and this is the reason for change in the state," said Shah at the rally attended by thousands of people.

Shah was BJP's election manager in Uttar Pradesh when the party won 72 out if 80 seats in the state.

"When our party was in power in Uttar Pradesh, we made sure that all the backward class people and weakest section of the society get the benefit of reservation. I would like to tell you that Uttar Pradesh, the government of BJP will come again and I promise you when our party will form the government here, we will provide all the facilities to the lower and backward class people," said Shah.
