A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader died of a heart attack at an an event of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan here on Saturday.
Raja Dubey, 37, was rushed to a hospital when he collapsed during the event; however he later died in the hospital.
Dubey was chief of party's Sagar district unit.
Condoling his death, CM Chouhan wrote on Twitter, "I am extremely saddened by sudden death of dear friend Raja Dubey's. I pray to God for peace to his soul and strength to his family. You'll always be in our hearts and memories. Humble tribute."
