Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Vijendra Gupta on Wednesday demanded the immediate arrest of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Somnath Bharti, saying that all accusations regarding the raid conducted by the latter had been proved in a judicial enquiry.

"All things have been proved in the judicial enquiry report against Somnath Bharti. It has been proved that he misbehaved with the women while conducting the raid. We want the Delhi Police to arrest Bharti immediately," said Gupta.

"Strict action should be taken against such people who misuse their positions. The workers of AAP have been involved in such activities from a long time," he said.

He further said that the accusations made against the BJP by the AAP are false.

"I challenge those people who have accused us to tell us from which number did they receive the calls. There is no truth in their words, what they are saying is false and baseless. This has been done for cheap popularity. The BJP has nothing to do with both Congress and AAP," Gupta added.

Earlier today, AAP MLA Rajesh Garg said that the BJP had approached his party's MLAs', including him, to form a government in Delhi.

When questioned about how the BJP was planning to form a government, he said, "They said that they have 29 MLAs and if somehow five MLAs abstain then they would be able to form a government. Or if five MLAs risk their seat, saying that they wouldn't be MLA's, then BJP will form the government, and will give the MLAs, who supported them tickets, so that they can become MLAs again."

He also said that a similar offer had been given to him, saying that he has a tape recording of this and he would be exposing them.

He further said that no AAP MLA would break away from the party.
