BJP national executive to meet in Delhi

The party is expected to focus on chalking out strategy for winning 272 plus seats in the next general elections

The National Executive and Council of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will begin a three-day meeting in national capital New Delhi from today.

The BJP top brass is expected to focus on chalking out strategy for winning 272 plus seats in the next general elections.

Senior party leaders, including L. K. Advani, Rajnath Singh, Narendra Modi, Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley and Murli Manohar Joshi, besides chief ministers of all BJP-ruled states are expected to attend the meeting.

An office bearers meeting was held ahead of BJP's National Executive and Council meeting.

The two meetings will pass two resolutions - one political and the other economic.

The BJP is also likely to discuss issues related to social, political, economic and internal security.
