The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national campaign committee meet began on Sunday to discuss the poll strategy in the upcoming state assembly elections and 2014 general elections.

The meeting which started at 11 a.m. will be chaired by Gujarat Chief Minister and party's poll panel chief Narendra Modi who will address the party workers.

Senior leaders like Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj, party president Rajnath Singh and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley are also present at the meeting.

The party is likely to get a feedback on the progress made in formation of various teams from booth-level committees and above.

On Saturday, the party had organised a media workshop for its spokespersons and media cell and asked them to target the Congress in a more aggressive manner, but maintain decency while countering the ruling party at the Centre through television debates and press interactions.

BJP spokesperson Prakash Javadekar, who briefed the media here after his party's national media workshop, said the party leaders, including poll panel chief Narendra Modi, are of the view that the mood of the nation is anti-Congress.
