Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday said that if the BJP was accusing the Congress of practicing dynastic politics, it should first cite the examples of the Shiv Sena and the Akali Dal.

"And the dynastic politics tired script starts again. Why not try this line with the Akali Dal and the Shiv Sena first @narendramodi ji?? Some day I'd like to understand why criticism of the BJP is met with personal abuse here on Twitter? R U guys so insecure about yourselves?" he tweeted.

He further mocked the party's popularity in the state due to absence of any flag or banner in support of the party in the stadium where Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a rally earlier today.

"Amazingly even Cong supported "leaders" have been asked to contribute people to the BJP rally. Politics makes for strange bedfellows. Not a single BJP flag or banner on the vehicles or with the people I saw walking in to the stadium. Such a telling sign of BJP support," he said.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Modi addressed a rally in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir, where he said that 'shrewd' Congress keeps jumping from lap of the National Conference to People's Democratic Party (PDP), depending on which one is more powerful at the given time.

He also accused the Congress of practicing dynastic politics.

Polling for the third phase of assembly elections will be held tomorrow in Jammu and Kashmir.
