Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah today declared his new, comparatively younger team which consists of 11 vice presidents and eight general secretaries.
Talking to ANI, BJP leader Dr. Sudarshan Trivedi, said, "Our party president has announced his new team, which emphasizes on the youth, their experience. More than two third of the people are less than 50 years old. So that shows the transformation initiatives in bringing the youth leadership in the forefront. And those youths who were given specific responsibilities have a record of completing their task fruitfully in the past too."
J P Nadda, new general secretary of the BJP said, " The team members consist of all those people who have already worked at responsible position in most of the states. So all of these are experienced people representing all communities of the society."
The BJP vice presidents include Bandaru Dattatreya, B.S. Yeddyurappa, Satpal Malik, M.A. Naqvi, P. Ruppala, Prabhat Jha, Raghuvar Das, Kiran Maheswari, Renu Devi and Dinesh Sharma.
The general secretaries are J.P. Nadda, and Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Muralidhar Rao, Ram Madhav, Saroj Pandey, Bhupendra Yadav, RS Kateria and Ram Lal .
Anurag Thakur will continue to be Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) chief and the BJP Mahila Morcha chief will be Vijaya Rahatkar.
Abdul Rashid Ansari will be the BJP's Minority Morcha chief.
