The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday criticised the participation of Congress president Sonia Gandhi in Swabhiman Rally at Patna with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD chief Lalu Yadav, saying it is a 'union of conflicts'.
"The foundation of Nitish Kumar's politics was against the 'jungle raj' of Lalu Yadav and now he is a friend to the latter. The foundation of politics of Lalu Yadav and Nitish Kumar was to oppose the Congress and its policies in the state," said BJP leader Rajeev Pratap Rudy.
"All these are conflicts. They can't give direction and quality to Bihar," he added.
Rudy asserted that the state has been ruled by all the three, including Congress, RJD and JD (U), and they have divided the state.
"All those people who are attending the rally tomorrow have been in contradiction with each other. They have opposed each other tooth and nail for last many years," he added.
