Union Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu has sounded a note of confidence ahead of the Uttar Pradesh assembly polls scheduled in February next year, saying the BJP will definitely emerge victorious in the Samajwadi Party-ruled bastion courtesy a wave in favour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Speaking in an exclusive conversation with ETV News head Jagdeesh Chandra, Prabhu said, "There is 'Modi wave' all over the country and definitely the BJP will win the assembly election in Uttar Pradesh."
"The people of Uttar Pradesh have now understood that the BJP is the only option for development," he added.
The Union Minister further said that the BJP would complete all stalled development projects after coming to power in Uttar Pradesh.
BJP president Amit Shah had earlier said that the Ram Janmabhoomi is a part of his party's election manifesto in Uttar Pradesh.
"We have specified it that the Ram temple should be made on the site either after a consensus or by the directions of court. This is our firm stand," he said.

Shah further said the BJP will contest the polls in Uttar Pradesh on the issue of development.
"The BJP has never agreed with whatever Sadhvi Prachi has said. We do not endorse Sanjeev Balyan's remarks on Dadri controversy. Our agenda is only development," he added.
Fresh from a thumping victory in Assam and a good showing in West Bengal and Kerala, the BJP would be eyeing to win the all-important assembly election in Uttar Pradesh.
