Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan's former wife Reham Khan has said in a tweet following her divorce that Quran states that Satan taught black magic to separate couples.

"The Quran states that the fundamental reason why Iblees (Satan) taught people black magic was in order to cause separation between husband and wife," Reham tweeted.

Earlier, reports surfaced that a row over dogs led to the couple's divorce. However, sources close to them have rejected the claim and said it was in fact Reham who used to take care of all the five dogs owned by the couple.

PTI spokesperson Naeemul Haq had confirmed that the couple divorced with mutual consent after ten months of marriage.
