A lounge dedicated entirely to Bollywood is rare in New Delhi and the newly opened Cinema Lounge in the capital definitely fills the gap.
The Bollywood inspired club that was recently inaugurated in a posh market of South Delhi is divided into three levels and equipped with a projector screen that will showcase legendary Bollywood movies and sports matches.
Speaking at the opening of his club, Nitin Chawla, the owner said, "I wanted a place that runs for a longer period of time, as lot of thought process went behind the concept."
Chawla added that since it was a Bollywood theme club, therefore several celebs would be coming to promote their movies as well.
Bollywood actor Rahul Dev and actress Richa Chadda were present at the inauguration besides actor Nasser Abdullah.
Talking about the club, Dev said, "Bollywood is huge, not only in Delhi, but worldwide, and anything to do with Bollywood should work provided it has a meaning and it sustains. Lounges or nightclubs normally have a shorter span of life and the ones that break the shorter shell life are the ones that make it".
