Swansea City striker Wilfried Bony has officially moved to the Manchester City in a deal that could be worth up to 28 million pounds, making him one of the expensive African footballers in history.
The Ivorian international has signed a four and a half-year deal that would keep him at Etihad Stadium until 2019.
Bony said that it was a great feeling for him, adding that it was a big honour and great challenge to be there. He further said that as a player it was always good to be part of one of the biggest clubs in the world and a motivation for him to give his maximum to be in that place, the BBC reported.
Bony, who was the Premier League top scorer in 2014, would wear the number 14 shirt.
