Indian tennis ace Rohan Bopanna and his Canadian partner Daniel Nestor staged a spirited fight back to book their place in the semi-finals of the men's doubles event at the BNP Paribas Masters here on Saturday.
After going down in the opening set, the eighth-seeded pair rebounded strongly to register a 2-6, 6-3, 10-5 win over American duo of Nicholas Monroe and Jack Sock in the last-eight contest that lasted an hour and 44 minutes.
Bopanna and Nestor will now lock horns with French pair of Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut for a place in the summit showdown.
