Former Australian skipper Allan Border has chosen New Zealand batsman Kane Williamson above the rest of the top batsmen in the world.
The 60-year-old said that he would select Williamson to bat for him over South African batsmen AB de Villiers and Australian skipper Steve Smith.
Lavishing praise on Williamson, Border said the former is as technically equipped as any of the top players, Sport24 reported.
De Villiers is currently leading the ICC Test batting rankings followed by Smith, England's Joe Root and South Africa's Hashim Amla.
Meanwhile, Williamson, who scored 166 in the ongoing second Test between Australia and New Zealand in Perth, is fifth on the list.
