Detroit female cops were recently left embarrassed when an assistant police commander mistakenly emailed a file containing bra sizes, that were collected for bulletproof vest fittings, to the entire police force.
DPD assistant, Chief James White, told the New York Daily News that the female cops had provided their height, weight and cup sizes for vests that they would be issued.
White said it was Commander Dwayne Love's job to inform the officers that the vests were ready to be picked up.
The 4-page Excel spreadsheet was forwarded first to commanders, then to supervisors and lastly to officers.
The first two pages and the fourth were all males but Love said that he did not read the third page, which contained the cup details.
White asserted to the publication that the mistake was more or less a clerical error and not a lapse in judgment because had Love seen this information, he wouldn't have forwarded it.
