Brazil secured their Copa America quarter-final berth after brushing aside Venezuela 2-1, thanks to Thiago Silva and Roberto Firmino's strikes.
Silva gave Brazil an early advantage as he volleyed home a corner from Robinho in the 9th minute. Subsequently, Firmino doubled the lead from a well-worked Willian's cross shortly after half-time.
Meanwhile, Fedor Flores gave Venezuela hope when he netted a consolation goal in the 84th minute, the BBC reported.
Brazil will now meet Paraguay in the tournament quarter-finals on Saturday.
