A British man, who infiltrated a Taliban training camp, shared his experience of the actual world of the terror group.
According to Daily Express, Cal Sarwar posed as a disillusioned Muslim with a "deep hatred" of the West to join insurgents in the lawless Waziristan region of north-western Pakistan.
The father of three from Falkirk in Scotland, with no military experience, went undercover to witness the brutalities of the terror group all by himself.
The 49-year-old aid worker managed to earn the trust of the Taliban on their mission against "Western infidels".
Describing his experience as not only "terrifying" but also one of "incredible disbelief," he said that what he learnt and saw filled him with dread.
He said that the group glamorised and normalised violence, which managed to make it appear acceptable.
After his escape to the UK, he reported his experience to the police and debriefed counter-terrorism detectives, the report said.
