A British boxer, who is reportedly the worst boxer in the country, is getting back in the ring for another shot at a title after losing 50 fights in a row.

Light welterweight Robin Deakin, who has only ever won one professional bout, his first in 2006, has only tasted defeat since then, including 12 knockouts and his record is so bad he lost his UK boxing licence over fears for his health

According to the Mirror, although Deakin admitted that he has been a 'human punch-bag', he now has a German permit and is preparing for a clash against an as-yet unnamed fighter in London on March 1 as he feels that he deserves a title.

Hoping that his comeback will make the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBC) give him back his license so that he can carry on living his dream, Deakin said that boxing is all that he knows and lives for, adding that his record does not reflect his actual abilities.

The report mentioned that Deakin was born with a club foot and had 60 operations, adding that he could not walk till he was six but immediately took up boxing and went on to win 40 of 75 amateur bouts, even getting to the British Youth Championships semi-finals.
