British detectives to testify against 'gay' Dewani in Cape Town

Scotland Yard detectives will travel to Cape Town to prove claim that honeymoon murder suspect Shrien Dewani was secretly gay.

According to Daily Star, officers from the Met Police Mutual Legal Assistance Unit (MLA) will travel to Cape Town to act as prosecution witnesses at his trial, which starts on October 6.

On the request of the South African police, British detectives have been investigating into Dewani's past.

Following investigations, a senior parliamentary aide revealed that he had kinky sex sessions with Dewani at a gay fetish club called the Hoist in Vauxhall, south London.

Forensic analysis of a laptop that was confiscated from Dewani's Bristol home at the time of his arrest showed that the millionaire had opened links to several gay websites, including gaydar.co.uk.

The India born British millionaire is accused of plotting the murder of his wife Anni on their honeymoon.

Anni was shot dead as the couple travelled in a taxi on the outskirts of Cape Town in November 2010.
