Britt Robertson has bagged a major role in upcoming Eddie Murphy starrer film 'Cook.'
The project, which would be helmed by Bruce Beresford, would center on a cook named Henry Church, played by Murphy, who's hired by a dying man to make meals for his girlfriend and his daughter after his death, and though he agrees to care for them for six months, he ends up ingrained in their lives for the next 15 years, Deadline.com reported.
Robertson, who most recently starred in 'Tomorrowland' and the Nicholas Sparks drama 'The Longest Ride', would fill the role of Charlotte in the project which was penned by Susan McMartin, based on her own experience.
The film, which is being produced by Courtney Solomon and Mark Canton new banner Cinelou, along with Lee Nelson and David Buelow, would begin filming in November in L.A.
