England all rounder Stuart Broad is worried that slow pitches might hinder his squad's performance while playing against India.
Broad believes that the dry wicket at Trent Bridge would benefit Indian spinners.
He fears that even his home county ground at Trent Bridge, where he took a hat-trick against India three years ago and Jimmy Anderson has a phenomenal record, would not provide much help for the seamers in this week's first Test against India, The Guardian reported.
Broad said that the drainage system, on which clubs have spent a lot of money, is the reason behind the 'dry' wickets.
The Indian cricket team is well-known for its strong spin attack whereas England spin-bowling options remain alarmingly limited after the retirement of spinner Graeme Swann, report added.
