Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader Dharmendra Chaudhary has been shot dead by unidentified persons in the Bannadevi area of Aligarh.
According to reports, two men stopped the BSP leader's car Saturday night and fired at his vehicle multiple times before fleeing.
Chaudhary was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
Chaudhary was the BSP candidate from the Atrauli assembly constituency.
