Asserting that the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) will not form an alliance with any political outfit in Uttar Pradesh or, at the national level ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati today said that her party will put up candidates in all 80 seats in the state.
Releasing the list of her party candidates, Mayawati said: ""We have decided to contest the Lok Sabha elections alone, we will put up candidates in all 80 seats in UP."
She further said that out of 80 candidates, the party has decided to field 34 OBC, 16 Muslim, 17 SCs 21 Brahmin and 8 Khastriya candidates from UP to provide a proper representation to all sections of society.
Launching a scathing attack on the Congress and the BJP, she said, "The people of this country are highly disappointed with the anti-people policies of the UPA government at the Centre. Neither Congress, nor the BJP will form the Government at the Centre this time."
Uttar Pradesh has 80 Lok Sabha seats, the largest amongst the states, which makes it very crucial and decides who forms the government at the Centre.
